Ivy is currently Director of Insights and Measurement for Discovery Southeast Asia. Ivy is responsible for expanding Discovery’s understanding of audience and engagement across both linear and non-linear channels to help drive strategy and product development in the region. Ivy is also involved in identifying growth and monetization opportunities across Discovery’s portfolio including products in digital incubation. Most recently, Ivy headed up the Asia Pacific and the Global Consumer Decision Journey Practice at research startup, Tapestry Research. Prior to Tapestry, Ivy was at Microsoft, working with incubation and product teams. She pioneered research focused on multi-screening and data value exchange to help develop new technology and digital services to disrupt current marketing models. Prior to Microsoft, she worked at Prudential Financial focused on product and marketing and at the Nielsen Company, where she worked on some of their first cross-channel media effectiveness products across TV, digital and OOH. Her work has been covered by global news outlets including Campaign Asia, the Wall Street Journal, The Guardian, Marketing Magazine and CNET. She started her career in the Financial Services industry focusing on marketing and analytics.
